Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Our original RSVP deadline was October 22, 2024. Please RSVP on our wedding website by November 15, 2024, the latest. This is a hard deadline. If you do not RSVP by this deadline, your invitation will automatically default to a “Cannot Attend.”

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Yes, absolutely! Everyone invited has been given a plus-one on their invitation. Please provide their full name, and other information as required in the RSVP questionnaire for all guests.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes! We are having a child friendly wedding. We would love to see you and your family during our celebration. The venue is child friendly and has many activities for children and families. For more detailed information about children’s activities at the venue, please reach out to the venue, The Majestic Mirage, directly. Please provide necessary information for all children in your RSVP form on the RSVP tab of this website.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Please refer to the "Travel" tab for complete venue information. If you require wheelchair accessibility, please contact the resort directly for up-to-date details about their accommodations. You can contact the Majestic Resorts at 1-888-477-7227 or visit their website: https://www.majestic-resorts.com Additionally, we will have signage directing you throughout the events.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

We have reserved a room block at our venue, The Majestic Mirage. Please refer to the "Travel" section on this website for information on room blocks and hotel stay.

What dates should I book for my stay?

Please refer to the "Home" tab for all event dates. Guests staying at the Majestic Mirage are required to book a minimum of 3 nights. We suggest you book from 2/21/-2/24 which will allow you to take part in all wedding events and have a free day after the wedding to enjoy the resort and the beauty of Punta Cana. However, you can book more days to extend your vacation, or from 2/20-2/23 if you prefer.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

For guests staying at the Majestic Mirage, and who booked through our travel agent, Destination Weddings, there is transportation to and from the airport included in the cost. For guests who have booked their stay at the Majestic Mirage, but outside of our travel agent, we do not guarantee travel to and from the airport. For guests who have booked a stay somewhere other than the venue, The Majestic Mirage, transportation to the venue is not included. Please find alternative transportation to get to the venue.

Is there a fee to enter the venue?

If you are staying at the venue, The Majestic Mirage, there is no fee, as you are already staying in the all-inclusive resort. Therefore, we highly recommend you stay at our venue. If you have booked a stay outside of the resort. you will be responsible for a $165 USD fee, per day, per person for a pass to enter the resort. The resort pass is valid all day, from 9:00 AM though 9:00 PM throughout the resort. You will have access to all amenities on the property, including restaurants and pools. On the day of our wedding, Saturday, February 22nd, the pass is valid until the end of the wedding events at 11:00 PM.

If I do not stay at the Majestic Mirage and get a day pass, will it work for all the wedding events.

Unfortunately, the day pass is good for ONE DAY ONLY. Therefore, if you get a day pass for the day of the wedding ceremony and reception (February 22, 2025) you will only be able to attend the ceremony and reception. If you plan to attend the welcome party (February 21st) or the day after brunch (February 23rd), please be aware you will need to purchase a day pass ($165 USD per day, per person) for each additional day.

What does my stay at the Majestic Mirage include?

Short Answer: A 3-night stay includes unlimited access to all our wedding events, a designated member of the staff per room, unlimited food and alcoholic beverages at the many restaurants and bars on the property, as well as tax and gratuity. Please contact our travel agent at Destination Weddings, or the resort directly for more detailed information.

If I stay at one of the Majestic’s sister properties (Majestic Colonial, Majestic Elegance) do I also get access to the Majestic Mirage?

Unfortunately, the privileges to each individual resort are non-transferable. If you book your stay at the Majestic Colonial or Majestic Elegance, you will not have access to our wedding venue, the Majestic Mirage. You would also be responsible for purchasing a day pass ($165 USD per day, per person) to attend the wedding events.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are scheduled to be outdoors, weather permitting. Because it is winter in the Caribbean, the weather is set to be comfortable, as low as 52 degrees F, and as high as 82 degrees F. Please dress accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

There are dress codes for all the various wedding events- please see the "Home" tab for the attire for each specific event.

Is there a dress code for the welcome party?

Yes, it is an all-white themed party. Please dress in various shades of white or cream colors. No other colors allowed! The Bride and Groom thank you in advance!

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me NOT to wear?

Linen and light fabrics are probably a good idea! But please, for the wedding ceremony and reception, NO WHITE, CREAM OR WHITE ADJACENT, as well as NO PINK, GREEN OR CHAMPAGNE. The Bride and Groom thank you in advance!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

The cocktail hour will have Hors d'oeuvres, including some vegetarian options. The Reception Dinner will be held at one of the resort’s restaurants and will consist of Surf and Turf (Steak and Lobster). If you have any dietary restrictions, please do not hesitate to communicate with the bride or groom. We will make sure that your dietary restrictions are respected and that you'll be safe, fed and happy!

Will there be an open bar?

YES! We will have an open bar at both the cocktail hour and the reception. Additionally, the resort has multiple bar options throughout the property, and alcoholic beverages are included in the cost of your stay, or the cost of a day pass.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, in lieu of traditional gifts, we ask that you please donate to our home fund. Please see the link for our home fund on the "Registry" tab on this website.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Our wedding reception will end at 11:00 PM. The celebration will continue in the resort’s property, with an after party at a location to be announced.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

There will be a short 1–2-hour gap between the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. There will be a cocktail hour with an open bar and Hors d'oeuvres available.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

The wedding venue has many options, as it is an all-inclusive resort experience. Check back here closer to the wedding date for more options and suggestions for things to do and enjoy outside of the resort during your stay.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Yes! There is a welcome dinner scheduled for February 21st. There is also a good-bye Bruch scheduled for February 23rd. Please check back here for more information regarding these events, including start times.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

No. We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Please allow our photographer, videographer and content creator to capture the beautiful moments. We will share them with all guests as soon as they are available. Thank you in advance for respecting our wishes. However, you can take photos and videos during the reception. In fact, we will have an app for you to upload pictures and videos so we can share them with everyone!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Yes AND No. We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Any videos or photos of our ceremony are strictly prohibited, and therefore, will not be allowed on social media. We have hired a content creator, and we will be uploading our own content to our social media. However, feel free to post pictures and videos of our reception and any other wedding events! We want to be tagged!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Will you be live streaming your wedding?

Yes! We will be live streaming our ceremony via Zoom for those who cannot attend. We simply ask that you not take video or screenshots, as the ceremony is unplugged, and we want to keep the ceremony private until we receive professional photos and video.

What health and safety measures will be in place?

We will have hand sanitizer and masks readily available throughout all the events for anyone who requires one.
